Freaky Nature in the Core at Eden

Once again Eden have shown reproductions of work from the Florilegium archives as part of their Freaky Nature event this Easter. This year the works were shown framed in the gallery area on the first floor of the core building and included the Freaky Nature paintings accepted in January which have not previously been shown.

The exhibition showcased the botanical illustrations of ‘freaky’ plants such as the Venus Fly Trap and the Sarracenia both of which consume insects to supplement their diets!

The exhibition ran in conjunction with Freaky Nature events all over the site, including the ‘Bug Boutique’ and the ‘Fabulously Freaky Science Show’.
